Cops were called to the home of veteran singer Paul Anka this week after the star's wife requested help to deal with a domestic dispute.

The singer/songwriter's wife Anna Yeager called 911 twice on Thursday morning after a disagreement over a fired maid escalated to a full-blown screaming match, reports TMZ.com.

Yeager reportedly told police she was scared of her husband, alleging he had pulled a gun out at her the night before.

The website reports that after checking surveillance footage at the couple's California house, officers were happy to leave without taking further action.

It isn't the first time the pair has been embroiled in a domestic dispute - Yeager was arrested for felony domestic battery in November last year after she threw a piece of ice at Anka's head, which left him needing medical attention.

The couple, who have been together for four years, share a son, Ethan.

I think religious subject in films always comes off corny & the special effects/cgi in this particular movie look god awful dumb but I do want to see paul bettany as Michael. And despite myself I am curious about the full synopsis/plot which I cant find anywhere - I assumed initially from the G trailer that is was Satan opposing god & trying to stop him from destroying humanity because there is this scene where the main circles another angel & the dialogue was something like 'you were always so fond of pleasing god' & the other says 'unlike you' which I assumed meant that god's angel was going to be Michael & the opponent was Lucifer but it was Gabriel & Michael & I dont know why anyone would tell Michael that he wasn't fond of pleasing god, but alright.
ANYWAY, so I have been really, really excited for a while but the fact that it's Michael, made apparent in the R trailer here, killed some of it for me because it's cool but not as cool as a hollywood movie about Satan trying to save humanity from god's wrath would have been.

Things are going from bad to worse for baby-oil heiress Casey Johnson -- she's now been dumped for good by her close friend and ex-lover, Courtenay Semel.

Semel, the daughter of ex-Yahoo boss Terry, says her fiery, on-off relationship with the Johnson & Johnson heiress is finally over and told Page Six: "I wish her well -- but well away from me."

Semel, who was recently named Hollywood's hottest lesbian, said she's ditching Johnson after she was accused of breaking into the apartment of mutual pal Jasmine Lennard and stealing her clothes, shoes, jewelry and legal papers.

Courtenay Semel Semel told us, "I have suffered emotional torture and manipulation at the hands of this woman, and never before has she suffered consequences for her actions.

"This was a long coming. It's time for me to have a life. The truth is that she needs to get serious help. But what worries me is that she will hit rock bottom before she does that."

Semel added, "This thing with Jasmine -- I really don't want to be in the middle of it. It's a nightmare. I promised to my family I would not get into any more trouble, and now I have to give statements to the police about Casey. I've had enough."

The Post revealed last week that Johnson allegedly broke into stunning model Lennard's Hollywood pad and ransacked her possessions, leaving a vibrator on the bed.

Johnson was busted when Semel texted Lennard, saying, "There's a problem, Jaz, Casey Johnson just got into bed with me and she is wearing your underwear. There are documents here, your shoes and your clothing -- you need to call the police."

Johnson, who denies stealing Lennard's possessions, faces a year in jail if convicted. She refused to comment on Semel's remarks.

more of a celeb on ONTD than irl, but still amazing.

If blogging were compared to the evolutionary process, celeb blogging would be the Darwinian pick for survival of the fittest. However, as with all wonderful things, there's always the expected dilution due to increasing quantities.

Fortunately, for us, Dlisted.com (pronounced D - Listed) emerged as the Homo sapien in the herd of beasts, and the genius behind this brilliantly funny, outrageously vulgar and surprisingly fresh site is one man known simply as Michael K.

looong interview, plus an ONTD shoutout ;D )

Want a peek into Tiger Woods' erotic dream life?

It involves one of his alleged mistresses Rachel Uchitel -- in a menage a trois with New York Yankees Derek Jeter and Bones actor David Boreanaz.

The new issue of Us Weekly reports that NYC club manager Uchitel, 34, bragged to friends of her flings with the rich and famous -- Uchitel's conquests apparently included Woods plus Ryan Seacrest, Jeter and the married Boreanaz.

A boastful Uchitel allegedly forwarded along a bizarre, extremely private email from Woods, 33, in which he referenced her famous flings.

Anna Friel wows onlookers with her striking scarlett dress as she leaves London's Theatre Royal after her evening performance of "Breakfast at Tiffany's". Anna looked stunning in the racey red cocktail dress and white fur wrap which she donned for the Berkeley Ball. She was accompanied by her co-star Joseph Cross and she met her partner David Thewlis at the event. Afterwards they went for drinks at The Pigalle Club in Piccadilly Circus, until the wee hours of the morning.

So I’ve been speaking to Stephanie, and I am seriously considering visiting America next year. Largely because I need a holiday badly, and I did an annual budget last night that saw me have $10,000 left over each year – half of which would go nicely on a month-long holiday halfway across the world.

Flights from Melbourne to Los Angeles via Air New Zealand (7 June 2010 to 3 July 2010) is $1133 (taxes included). I get four weeks annual leave each year. This is perfect. I’m already 95% convinced that I’m going to go, and travel around the west coast (and potentially go as far in as Texas/the two Dakotas). I’m being realistic – four weeks isn’t enough for me to get as far as the East Coast, but I can always save that for another trip.

To convince me that further 5%, I encourage all American readers of this blog to offer their couches for me to sleep on, and for everyone else to suggest places for me to go when I’m over there. And if you live on the East Coast and will travel to the West to meet me, I’ll give you cookies.

My friend Emely got here thursday night. She's been settling in quite nicely, has applied for jobs, and has cleaned my house a few times (ha). My parent's friend, who just had a baby, donated a bunch of cute maternity clothes for her so she has tons of jeans and shirts she can wear throughout the pregnancy. If she finds a job, Leslie and I talked about it and we'll charge her what we charged my old roommate so she can stay as long as she likes.

The past week I've been making lists for what to get people this Christmas. I've had to cut back drastically because money is tight (I'm trying to really work on my credit card because I'm paranoid) and so I won't be able to make each gift bag as full as I wanted to. I'm still doing them though! I think they're fun.

I've been working nonstop it seems like. We hired a new girl and she's very nice. I haven't worked with her though. I think the "manager" who got demoted because he didn't know how to do his job might get fired. Suffice it to say, he has an ego and feels he's too good for the job. Good riddance.

Friday is payday so I'll be finishing up my gift shopping, buying gift boxes and such, and getting everything wrapped. The Christmas party with the girls will be on the 18th, so we'll be preparing for that. And the rest of the time I'll be working. I have one more assignment left and one more test and I'm done with school until the 11th of January so I'm super excited about that. I think I might get away with two A's and a B. We'll see.

I finished Dead Until Dark from the Sookie Stackhouse series and I liked it a lot. I'll definitely be reading the other ones! I'm also starting on The Memory Keeper's Daughter tonight. I've been really trying to finish up books and I'm proud of myself tbh. I don't think I'll hit my goal of 25, but I'm hoping I'll keep this up well into next year. Holy crap, next year. Where has THIS year gone!? I hope next year doesn't go as fast :(

What are you guys asking for Christmas/getting others for Christmas? How has your week been? I feel like I should interact with you guys more since I don't know you all that well. That's going to change, I promise. One of the reasons why I love livejournal so much is that I feel like I'm talking to my friends instead of an "audience" if that makes any sense. I'd like to get to know you all on a more personal level.

OT: I updated the Things To Do Online list with a few things, so check that out.
