Site Talk

Sometimes I wonder what it'd be like to have a personal website again. Some days I'll link hop from website to website out of boredom like the good ol' days. Sometimes I read the blogs (most of the time I don't), or check out the content if there is any. There was a time where I would take the time to read every blog on my links list, ooh and aah over new designs, wonder about what to write about in order to entertain my readers in some way, read articles on webdesign and blogging, etc.

To be honest, ever since I closed down chiklita.net I haven't seriously thought about bringing it back. I know if I did I'd bore all of my readers with my lazy blogs about nothing. I'm okay with doing that on livejournal but I can't justify doing it while promoting myself and promoting my website. I guess I care a little too much? I don't know. I know if I'm promoting my website I'd want it to be worth visiting. And I'd want my blogs to be written in such a way that my readers feel it's worth coming back to read each new post. That's what I tried to do in my old website, anyway.

I don't know where I'm going with this. It's the caffeine talking I guess. Just random thoughts.

I know some of you on my friends lists have websites right now. Have you ever thought about shutting down your site?

BTW, first review is up at chiklitareviews . Go check it out if you're interested in that sort of thing.

Random Updates, Reviews, and Christmas

So a few things have happened since my last entry: - We set up a little Christmas tree and stockings!

- We painted our living room:

- We had our Christmas Party with our best friends and exchanged gifts early since we'll all be with our families on Christmas day. Or at least, that was the original plan... now some of us want to hang out on Christmas Day because no one ever does anything.

Yay for food! We played Clue, watched Vampire Diaries, talked, and then shared all of our gifts. I'll probably make a list of what I got later.

- Thanks to those of you who filled out the poll in my last entry! I made a little review blog here on LJ: chiklitareviews This will be fun, I always want to post reviews on here but I never thought anyone really cared. - I made Christmas icons too, for hystoria . I'll be putting those up tomorrow morning hopefully. I made like 40 of them. I couldn't help myself, I love Christmas.

How are your preparations going for the holidays? Has anyone gotten all of their shopping done? I got 99% of it done, but I still have to get my parents their gifts. There's tons of snow on the ground up north, something like 20 inches in some areas?! WTH. How do you guys manage?!

Christmas List, Song Meme, Other Random Stuff

Thanks to those of you who told me what was on your Christmas list, cause it helped me when I was thinking of mine. :)

Here's my wishlist for this year:

LOST Season 1 DVD | My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult | MAC Dazzleglass: Funtabulous

Urban Decay Sustainable Shadow Box | OPI Nail Polish: Any color | Star Trek DVD

Paper Towns by John Green | MAC Blush: Honour | Dexter Season 2 DVD

Also, here's a song meme I got from schmiss:

1. Put your media player of choice on shuffle.
2. List the first fifteen songs that come up and add "in my pants" to the end.
3. Bold the ones that actually made you LOL. (I didn't do this, but you guys can tell me your faves.)

Broken Open In My Pants

Love Story In My Pants

If I Had You In My Pants

Black Wedding In My Pants

Cosmic Love In My Pants

Charmed Life In My Pants

Back in Your Head In My Pants

Laughing With In My Pants

Map of the World In My Pants

Forever and Always In My Pants

Winter In My Pants

Time for Miracles In My Pants

Please Don't Go In My Pants

Other Towns and Cities In My Pants

I Bet It Stung In My Pants

My favorites are #1, #10, #12, #13, and #15. These are fun.

Oh and for the record, you guys suck at doing memes upon request. I'll remember that for next time, jerks. *sniff*

Other random things:

- School is over! I managed to get a B in my accounting class, something I never thought I'd do ever since I completely missed an exam and it brought me down to a D. So I'm super happy about that. I think I got two A's in my other two classes, but I'm not sure.

- I've finished my Christmas shopping already! A load off my shoulders. Now I'll just be concerned about having no extra money for the next month.

- I really like the song Change by Carrie Underwood. It's been in my head all day, and if you're not a fan of country, that's okay, it doesn't really sound like a country song anyway.

- I couldn't get through The Memory Keeper's Daughter. I wanted to like it so much because the movie was so great, but the book is just so full of unimportant and unnecessary details. Why do they do that? It takes the fun out of it. So I'm reading Sense and Sensibility instead. So far, so good. I also couldn't get through Someone Like You by Sarah Dessen. I don't even know why, I usually love her stuff. =/

Meme (+ You)

Since when were they working THERE? Since when were they dating HIM/HER? Since when???" And then you wonder how you could have missed all that seemingly pretty standard information, but somehow you feel too ashamed to ask for clarification because it seems like info you should already know? It happens to all of us sometimes.

I'm going to fill this out but I'd like you guys to fill it out as well! In your journal or in the comments, it doesn't matter. Point is, I want to learn more about YOU.

1. FIRST NAME
Sarai. I actually have had some people ask me if that is my real name, and yeah, it is.

2. AGE
22.

3. LOCATION
I live in central Florida.

4. OCCUPATION
I work in my father's restaurant part-time.

5. PARTNER?
Single and okay with that. Although recently I've been thinking of doing that thing where you meet people?

6. KIDS?
Not for me.

7. BROTHERS/SISTERS
I have one younger sister named Leslie who lives with me. She's 20 and she's my best friend. My Dad was married once before and had two children, Ivis and Luis, who are much older. I don't see them as often but we're pretty close.

8. PETS
I have a female shih-tzu named Leihka. She's about 8 years old and she's my baby.

9. LIST THE 3/5 BIGGEST THINGS GOING ON IN YOUR LIFE
1. Moving out on my own
2. Finishing up college in the spring
3. Work
4. Helping my friend Emely get on her feet
5. Trying to figure out what I want to do with myself. (stole this from Stephanie because I agree)

10. PARENTS
My parents are both married. We used to have a very strained relationship but we've gotten a lot closer this past year and I love them. I try to see them once a week or so because I miss them.

11. CLOSEST FRIENDS
My two closest friends are my sister and my friend Brent. I'm also pretty close to my friend Mirly and I spend a lot of time with her, Nina, and now Emely. Here's a picture of Nina, Mirly, and I:

Christmas Shopping

My friend Emely got here thursday night. She's been settling in quite nicely, has applied for jobs, and has cleaned my house a few times (ha). My parent's friend, who just had a baby, donated a bunch of cute maternity clothes for her so she has tons of jeans and shirts she can wear throughout the pregnancy. If she finds a job, Leslie and I talked about it and we'll charge her what we charged my old roommate so she can stay as long as she likes.

The past week I've been making lists for what to get people this Christmas. I've had to cut back drastically because money is tight (I'm trying to really work on my credit card because I'm paranoid) and so I won't be able to make each gift bag as full as I wanted to. I'm still doing them though! I think they're fun.

I've been working nonstop it seems like. We hired a new girl and she's very nice. I haven't worked with her though. I think the "manager" who got demoted because he didn't know how to do his job might get fired. Suffice it to say, he has an ego and feels he's too good for the job. Good riddance.

Friday is payday so I'll be finishing up my gift shopping, buying gift boxes and such, and getting everything wrapped. The Christmas party with the girls will be on the 18th, so we'll be preparing for that. And the rest of the time I'll be working. I have one more assignment left and one more test and I'm done with school until the 11th of January so I'm super excited about that. I think I might get away with two A's and a B. We'll see.

I finished Dead Until Dark from the Sookie Stackhouse series and I liked it a lot. I'll definitely be reading the other ones! I'm also starting on The Memory Keeper's Daughter tonight. I've been really trying to finish up books and I'm proud of myself tbh. I don't think I'll hit my goal of 25, but I'm hoping I'll keep this up well into next year. Holy crap, next year. Where has THIS year gone!? I hope next year doesn't go as fast :(

What are you guys asking for Christmas/getting others for Christmas? How has your week been? I feel like I should interact with you guys more since I don't know you all that well. That's going to change, I promise. One of the reasons why I love livejournal so much is that I feel like I'm talking to my friends instead of an "audience" if that makes any sense. I'd like to get to know you all on a more personal level.

OT: I updated the Things To Do Online list with a few things, so check that out.

40+ Things To Do Online If You're Bored

A couple of you who follow me on twitter wanted me to post this list of things to do when you have nothing else to do (online). I'm constantly finding myself reaching the End of the Internet. I check everything I usually check, nothing is updated, and then I'm left wandering off to watch tv or just refresh Facebook and Twitter. So I decided to make a list to remind me that there are other things I could be doing. Keep in mind that this is what I find entertaining on the internets. Some of it might not be your personal cup of tea~, so keep that in mind. :)

The Best of Craigslist.

Read quotes at Wikiquote.

Watch shows on Hulu.

Watch communitychannel's videos on YouTube.

Laugh at/with other people at F*ck My Life.

The Onion

Read customer horror stories at Not Always Right.

Check out books for free via Read Print.

Learn how to do
An Interesting Situation

Okay, first of all, I've read 16 books this year. I am incredibly disappointed in myself, especially because I had more than enough time to spare and more than enough books to read. My goal at the beginning of the year was 25 books. Currently I'm almost done with one book so really, if I read 8 books this month I will reach my goal by cheating, which makes me feel even more disappointed. And I still think 25 is not enough. I used to read a book every two days and now I read 16 a year? Seriously, wtf.

Anyway, that's not what I wanted to write about. One of my good friends Emely, who lives in Boston, is going to come down to Florida and stay with me a few weeks. Reason being, she was pretty much kicked out of her house and has nowhere to go. She is also four months pregnant. Yeah, it changes things. Her boyfriend (aka the baby's father) lives in Orlando and is willing to help with the baby once he's born. Seeing as I live in a pretty busy area with a ton of businesses, this is her only real chance. And my sister and I are the only ones really willing to help her, which makes me kind of lose a little faith in humanity. She's such a great person, completely selfless, and an amazing friend, and if the tables were turned, I know she'd do the same for me. She'll be here in a week or so and yeah, we'll see what happens. I've given up trying to plan for the future since every month or so EVERYTHING changes. Seriously, there's no point.

Oh and the first thing I'm doing tomorrow is paying my library fees and checking out some books.

Thanksgiving & Black Friday

Thanksgiving was great. I saw some friends I haven't seen in about a year. It's crazy how people change. Hardly anyone is the same. There was tons of food, all kinds, and some great desserts. I had a little bit of everything and it was all good. Then we sat around and swapped stories, trying to get caught up, and after all that the boys put on some football while the girls hung out. Once the game was over we watched Four Christmases (made me smile) and Angels & Demons, which was disappointing. I think it's because the book is soo much better it doesn't even compare.

This morning I was planning to go shopping at 6am but my phone died and so my alarm didn't go off. STORY OF MY LIFE. I ended up waking up at 7:15 and everyone else was up too so we all went together. I bought a few things at Wal-Mart and Target:

1. Yes Man DVD
2. 300 DVD
3. Dexter Season 1
4. 3-piece PJ set
5. Some socks for other people's christmas presents
6. Sweater

All for $42. Nothing amazing, but some good deals and we didn't have to deal with crazy people. My mom bought my sister and I a few things because she couldn't help herself. My sister bought like four DVDs and a food chopper thing and my mom got herself a toaster and some movies.

I wish I had bought some things online, I heard there were some great deals on there. Did you guys get anything?

My sister is out looking for a car right now with my parents. In the meantime I'm going to try and see if there are any more deals online.

Feeling A Lil' Grateful

I loved all of your responses in the last post, especially doubtful_salmon, since it was quite succinct and straight to the point (I completely agree with you, btw).

Here's a list of what I'm grateful for:

My family. I've gotten very close to my parents and my sister this past year and it's been a complete 360 compared to what I was used to. (I'll stop talking about this eventually.) I'm also grateful for my dog, who keeps me company while my sister is away and I get ronrey. I'm a sap.

Having a job. It pays the bills, food, and other things. It's important and I'm very lucky.

College. Being able to go to college and get a foot in the door. Again, I'm very lucky.

My car. Cause without it I wouldn't have a job. (I'm impressing myself with this list, I didn't think I'd get more than two things. huzzah?)

My friends. I've done a lot of thinking about my friendships these past few weeks, and I realized, I don't know shit about picking friends apparently. The ones I didn't think much about before turned out to be the ones that were really there for me. Effortless friendships, that's what I need, and that's what I have right now. I don't know what I was thinking. But I know better now.

Adam Lambert?

Speaking of Adam (I'm so good at transitions, can you tell?), his AMA performance was completely over the top and his singing was horrible but I've blocked that performance from my memory and now I'm just concentrating on his new CD, which I love. It's so out there and ridiculous but so much fun at the same time, I can't not love it. His new video is meh, but he looks gorgeous, so it's easy to ignore the-- okay, I can't believe I am this person. Sarai, seriously, what is wrong with you.

Thanksgiving will be spent at my "aunt's" house tomorrow. I'm staying over my parent's house tonight so we can have a little family day together before we head out. I have nothing appropriate to wear so I'll probably just go in jeans and a nice shirt, idk. What are you guys doing for Thanksgibbin? Seeing family? Staying in?

Oh and I got a mood theme, so I'll be doing mood stuff for the hell of it now because I love that fun shit.

Nothing To See Here

Last night I went with a few friends to the Cheesecake Factory to grab some dinner and then we went to the 10 p.m. showing of New Moon. The Cheesecake Factory was nice, it was my first time, but it was pricey. My sister and I shared a plate and I couldn't even finish half of it. New Moon was great, I thought it was much better than the first one, but then again I'm just a creepy fangirl (how delicious was Jacob in that movie? I mean seriously) so it could've been the worst movie ever and I would've walked out of there all "Again! Again!" I thought they added a lot more parts from the book than the last one, and they didn't totally butcher the dialogue like in the first one. Oh, and Bella didn't stutter half as much. So I was glad.

I ended up going to bed at 1am and then waking up at 8am and so I walked into work half-sleepy and a little cranky, and since it's a Saturday and we're super busy, I was very grumpy when I left at 4. Stupid customers just make me even more tired, because they make me work twice as hard for something that shouldn't be at all hard in the first place.

I just finished listening to Michael Buble's Christmas album, Let It Snow, and it cheered me right up. I'm so glad Christmas is almost here. I'm on the lookout for a short Christmas tree that we can decorate. So far I have only found one, so I hope we can get it soon. Now that my roommate is no longer, well, our roommate, money is a little tighter than last time so I have to patiently wait to really gather my money. It's not that I'm broke or anything, but I like having a substantial amount just in case. I don't like to only have $10 bucks in the bank and then realize that I'm screwed if anything were to happen or if I needed anything. I'm just paranoid.

I need a vacation. Wait, have I said that already? I probably have.

I need a vacation.

lazy entry

i've been working like a crazy person these past two weeks, but it's worth it, because the paychecks will make christmas this year pretty sweet. we're going to have a christmas party with just the girls a couple of days before christmas, where we'll pass out gifts, watch a christmas movie and have christmas music playing and christmas cookies and basically our goal is to have everyone pretty sick of christmas by the time they leave. christmas only comes around once a year and i plan to milk it.

i've been shopping a lot lately. first we went to the mall to go to ulta for the heck of it and we brought a friend along. while looking around i got some ideas for gifts. the best part of the night was going into the photobooth to take some pictures. i wish there was some way to buy the video because it was hilarious. i also look very chongalicious.

a couple of days later we went to the florida mall to check out the lush store. lush is 100% vegetarian and 60% organic, and they make products like soaps, bath bombs, massage bars, shampoos, skin care, etc. but natural and quirky. their scents are super different and not everyone's cup of tea but the quality of their products is excellent and i found a few things.

earlier today i went to the florida mall again, but this time with my co-worker. i found these boots for $15 (saved $20):

they look cute on. first pair of boots i've ever bought. i also got a white scarf that was super cute and light (since i live in florida). i didn't spend much so i'm proud of myself. have to save for all those presents after all.

this coming friday i'll be going to dinner with the girls at the cheesecake factory and then we're going to watch new moon (haters to the left, ty) and yeah, it's exciting, i might even buy a t-shirt too. you wanna fight about it? life's about the little things.

school is coming to a close. next semester i'll be going on campus and i'll be taking classes with a few friends which should be fun <3 this coming may i plan to graduate. i'm hoping that with this diploma i can find a decent job in my field. although, to be honest, i don't know if that's what i really really want. i quite like working five hours a day for five days a week, being able to take time off whenever i want, and not having to work in a stressful situation. it suits me. but at the same time, money is money, and at the end of the day, it's money that pays for this apartment, pays for outings, pays for christmas presents, and plane tickets, and yeah. money makes things happen.

that's about all that's been going on. i keep forgetting to buy batteries for my camera so i haven't taken it anywhere. i do have some pictures that my friend took while we were at the local fair. good times. i might post those later.

oh and i just wanted to say congrats to jem! she just had a baby girl and i think it's awesome, so yeah.

Dexter

Dexter is easily one of the best shows on television. I finished the third season the day before yesterday. I actually sat down just to watch one episode because my sister and I like watching it together but I couldn't stop. Six episodes later I was itching for the fourth season already. It's just an amazing show, it hasn't jumped the shark like all the other shows I like, and I love it for that. Who's watching the fourth season? Is it amazing? I expect nothing less. ♥

Godiva=God, Christmas Gift Ideas

Have any of you guys walked into a Godiva store or tasted Godiva chocolates? After work today I met my friends and the mall and we walked into the highlight of my week. I bought a few truffles and tried a sample and I was in love. I am so obsessed with this store it's not even funny. I signed up for the rewards card so I get a free truffle a month and so yeah, I'll be trying truffles every month for a year. So worth it.

I worked every day this past week and the week before that so next payday I'll be banking. I'll be saving all of this extra money for Christmas gifts this year. For my Dad I'm thinking of buying a nice wine and splitting it with my sister. For my mom I'll be getting a cosmetics brush set and some make-up, and for my girl friends I'll be making these cute little baskets. I'm thinking of getting each of them a unique gift that goes with their personalities and then filling the rest of the basket with stuff like little VS lotion/mists, Godiva chocolates, personalized accessories, etc. (but with different scents/colors/designs). Something like that. Are you guys planning any gifts this year?

I can't wait for Christmas. I'm going to get a wreath for our door, get a 3 ft. tree, some candles, akdfkjdsf. It's going to be great.

Sigh I feel super stuffed. Earlier my sister and I met our parents at Olive Garden and my sister and I shared a plate and we still got full. Now I have quite the food baby and I feel like taking a very long nap, so I'm going to go do that now.
About Me's

I re-did my profile last night. Took me about 12 tries. I always feel like a jackass when I write about me's, does that happen to anyone else? I always re-write, even if I've thought about what I'm going to say beforehand. How would you guys describe me? Maybe I can put something in there like "What Others Think". It would feel more genuine to me.

Oh, and this is way late but if any of you don't really use LJ but you have a feed reader, add me to your feeds! (What readers do you use, btw? I'm curious.)

Holidays and Water

I can't believe it's already November. Just last year all anyone could talk about was the election, and voting, and politics. That seems like it was a few months ago. On the plus side, it's almost Thanksgiving and Christmas! My favorite holidays.

I'm already cutting back on spending and saving my paychecks as much as I can so I can go all out for Christmas. I've made lists for the few people I'm buying gifts for and now all there's left to do is wait. Classes end on the 15th so I can relax for a few days before Christmas all the way until January. <3 For my spring semester I'm thinking of actually taking classes on campus. There aren't many pros about going to class on campus but it'd be nice to actually be around people during class. I'll have to think about it some more. I already know that I want to join this social club thing that my friend is a part of, they do tons of activities and it's a great place to meet new people, so I'm really looking forward to that.

I've been drinking so much water lately. I'm trying to get my 8 cups in but it's so damn hard. Most of the time I want to give up because I feel like I'm about to burst. But it's healthy, and it helps, and yeah. I should probably list the benefits of water here for some motivation (for myself):

1. Studies have shown that not drinking enough water, dehydration, can be a key element in causing headaches, migraines, chronic fatigue syndrome and depression.
2. Water helps regulate body temperature, especially during exercise.
3. Drinking water regularly lessens the burden on your kidneys keeping us pollution free from toxins.
4. People who drink more than 5 glasses of water a day are less likely to die from a heart attack than people who drink less than two.
5. Drinking plenty of water is essential to maintain a good digestion which in turn keep your metabolism going.
6. Water primarily stimulates the circulation of blood, fluids, and the necessary elements inside our body. Additionally, it also controls and regulates the skin's natural balance.
7. Drinking more water can help to prevent overeating and benefit weight loss.

Yay water. I hope I can keep this up.

I Care Too Much About Grades Apparently

Yesterday was incredibly stressful.

First, I found out that my roommate might have to move back in with her parents. You see, she had about $700+ in her checkings account because she had two jobs (now she has only one), but her mother decided she needed to take a trip to see her family and decided to take the money out of my roommate's account without telling her beforehand. Her mother does not have the money to pay her back anytime soon and so now my roommate is completely broke. Not to mention, about two weeks before her mother took this money, her father borrowed about $300 for a plane ticket because his mother died. My roommate didn't really care about this as much because the money was taking out of her savings and not her checkings account, so it wasn't such a blow. And also, her father asked her beforehand. I guess her mother thought it'd be cute to follow suit and take advantage of my roommate's kindness. So now my sister and I are without a roommate and will most likely take care of the rest of the bills, which is fine, it just wasn't expected and I hate having to adjust my crap last minute.

Second, my Administrative Management teacher decided to just now factor in the 0's we've received on assignments and tests so far and updated all of our class averages. One of the benefits of taking online classes is that we can see our updated grades instantly. Except this teacher was really behind. So yesterday, a day before we can withdraw our classes without penalty, I found out that my grade was not really an A, but a low C. I freaked out basically and e-mailed my teacher to see what was up. I knew I had missed a test and an assignment in the beginning of the class because I had gotten confused with my other classes (It takes me a bit to get used to the different classes and whatnot) so I totally understood that I had those two 0's. But she also factored in another test I had apparently missed that I for sure had taken. Thankfully after e-mailing back and forth she let me re-take that test (I took it immediately and got 100) and hopefully after she factors that grade and the Chapter 9 test I just took (I got a 96 on that one), my grade won't look so sad. What I don't get is that I missed one little assignment and my average percentage for Assignments as a whole is 60%. How is that even mathematically possible? It just doesn't make sense to me. I'm trying to work really hard on getting my GPA above a 3.5 (it's at a 3.4 right now) and I'm scared that this class is going to screw everything up. I just hope it all gets worked out.

OT but remember how I was planning on dressing like Frida Kahlo if something were to come up? Well it didn't, not until this morning. So I basically didn't do any shopping whatsoever and I'm now looking at last-minute outfits because there's this little block party going on and my roommate and my sister are both going. So today I'm going to stop by Target and hope I find something decent. I'm bummed that I didn't really get to work on my costume, but there's always next year. What are you guys doing this Halloween? Are you dressing up? What are you wearing? Tell me everything. I love this holiday <3

From my Twitter (paraphrased)

Because I'm lazy.

I bought this stationery set thinking "Cute! I could send my friends letters with this!" Then I realized that all my friends are here. So then I thought, well, I could send it to my LJ friends! But I don't know what to send you guys. Quotes? Random pictures? I need idears.

I really want to send x-mas cards to some of you guys too, cause I love getting them. We could have a little x-mas card penpal exchange thing! This really shouldn't excite me as much as it does but whatever. IDEAS!

Answered Questions

I'm only answering questions that weren't of a personal matter here~

What color is your hair?
It's naturally dark dark brown (almost black) but I dyed it a dark brown because my skin color is so light and the black just makes it look lighter.

How old are you?
I turned 22 this past June.

Where do you live?
I live in central florida.

What is your race/gender/sexual orientation/nationality/religion?
Hispanic/Female/Straight/American/Atheist

I'm not really sure if I've seen a picture of you. I've always sorta wondered what you looked like.

I don't understand the lj icon. The one with the girl showing only half her face. I often wondered who that was.
It's Penelope Cruz. The full picture looks like this:

Do you plan on styaingin FL forever? If not, where do you want to go? If so, how come?
No, I don't. I like seeing the seasons change, and you just don't see that here. I'd like to move up a little more north, like North Carolina or Virginia or Tennessee. I like those places, and I love small towns and all that.

Do you like to travel? Where have you travelled to? Ever been out of the country?
I loove to travel. I've been on three cruises and while that doesn't really count as traveling, it's better than nothing. I've been to the Bahamas, Mexico, Belize, Aruba, and other places. In the US I've been to California, Georgia, and Ohio. I like visiting new places.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Hopefully with a stable job, maybe even having a boyfriend, traveling as much as possible and trying to make the most of my youngin' years.

If you could only eat ONE thing for a whole month what would it be?
Quakers Oatmeal Squares (what? idk)

What sort of things do you like baking exactly?
Cookies! My favorite. Lemon squares too.

What is your ultimate goal in life?
To be happy.

Do you have a certain type of guy you'd want to date? If yes, what's he like? If no, what quality would you still look for in a guy?
Yes, someone who isn't into bullshit, who has a great sense of humor, and who doesn't hover. Someone thoughtful and genuine.

Are you happy with where you are in life?
Right now, yes.

What's your favorite hobby?
Does surfing the internet count? Youtubing? I'm really into reading, I wish I read more.

If you have any more questions I'll answer them in the comments below :)
